We believe that players come first. Players make games great, and communities greater. We pride ourselves on focusing and catering to players of all games, and giving them the chance to play their game, their way.
Based in Washington, MO, NerdCorp Games is an online reseller of singles for a number of popular card games including Magic the Gathering, Flesh and Blood, One Piece, Riftbound and Union Arena.
We are growing and looking to move into brick and mortar within the next year or so.
Who Are We?
NerdCorp Games is a one man show operating out of a home office right now. Though, y’know, we’re hoping to be bigger.
Jayke Wells is a lifelong gamer and competitor across a number of games. His current favorites are Flesh and Blood, Riftbound and Cyberpunk TCG. Jayke also does Live Action Roleplaying and participates in Cosplay opportunities as they’re available.
What’s with the Sigil?
The Sigil is taken from Hoboglyphs or Hobo Signs that were used by homeless and displaced people during the early 1900s and Great Depression to communicate with others about the area around them and specific farms, people, and towns that were safe or dangerous, and what resources could be found there.
Our sigil is a reimagining of a glyph meaning “Safe Here, Sleep in Loft,” representing a place where the property owners would allow travellers to sleep in the loft of their barn, and provide a safe place. Usually, this came with the understanding of providing help around the farm. We’ve taken this symbol to represent the same: NerdCorp Games is a safe place for anyone to come, rest, and socialize. So, take a load off and let’s play some great games.
